OUR STORY

We are John and Cindy Gedritis, and we moved in 2021 from a big city to the rural outskirts of Stevens Point, Wisconsin.  We were tired of supermarkets and fast food and began to contemplate owning a small farm where we could grow and raise our own food.  We stumbled upon Bison as an option and quickly became intrigued by the idea.  After much research and blind faith we purchased our current property from a former Bison rancher and started from scratch with 4 Bison calves.  

 

We are new to the world of farming and Bison but we are learning and growing fast.  After 2 and a half years we were finally able to process a few animals and now have meat to offer to our customers.  The road has been challenging but rewarding and I wouldn't change a thing.  To wake up every morning and see our young herd out the window, contently grazing on the pastures or the hay we cut last summer is the most amazing feeling.
